Today, it feels like Christmas is arriving! Snows blanking the ground in pure white. I keep thinking of a song that I hear in chruch with a line that says, 'Sin had left a crimson stain, he washed it white as snow'. It always reminds me of this day SOO much! Also Shelley at beingshelley1.blogspot.com is having a Valintine's day photo contest! Check it out!
Also, I've noticed that their is practically NO MANGAS or ANIMES that are Christian!!!!!!!!! So, i've decided that I may write one (or at least a script for one). You know that in the bible they say that we are fighting a spiritual battle? Well my idea is based on that true that we're fighting a battle against the Devil. My idea is kinda like a anime called Tokyo Mew Mew, but a little different. Instead, the outfits are more appropriate, the girls fight demons, they work at a restaurant, they don't say really bad words like the do sometimes in the japenese version of the anime and this book will be biblical based. The girls names are Snow, Blue (short for blueberry), Pepper, Honey, and Rose who are Christians that change into pretty outfits based on endangered animals like a snow leopard, bali starling, a sea creature, a monkey, and dhole to fight demons that only they can see.
If you like idea, tell me via comment and if you want, I can try and write chapters time and again. Just tell me and I'll start writing after the first few comments that state; 'Please write more!!!!'

Winter F'u'se

Hi, sorry I haven't posted for a while, but I have a reason: Winter F'u'se (It's a u with two dots above it). It's a Christian retreat I when to in Muskoka. The theme: < (a.k.a Greater than. How God is greater than... well anything!) Let me tell you how this three day retreat when:

Day 1
Left at 5:00 pm. We were in a coach bus :) . Got to talk for three hours with my friend Jamilya. We talked about Tokyo Mew Mew (a great anime by the way, except for some of the swear words and outfits. Pudding's my fave character, as well as Lettuce and Christian Zakuro) and Pok'emon (used to watch it myself). She talked about a idea about creating a idea for a Pok'emon human character with a really elaborate story. They put on Cars 2 in the bus for the rest of the way. When we got there, we unpacked' ate two cookies and when to the hanger for sermon on how God is greater than in Mark 4:35-40. Then we went to bed.

Day 2
Woke up early. Had sausage, french toast, and a bagel for breakfast. Had Devos in Psalm 8. Had are second sermon that introduced the wheel. The wheel of Dan. It's a wheel were the spiner has to spin to eat disgusting foods. Four kids had to eat Pet food, Grass jelly drink, bopping for Spam *feels sick* I didn't like it at all. The sermon was in Mark 5:21-43 about Faith (in Jesus) > circumstance. Later we had chicken sandwiches and lettuce (my friend said she felt like she was eating Mew Lettuce *laughs*)

Boxing day!! Hip Hip Hurray!

Now that Christmas is over, the tree is taken down, ornaments are boxed up and gifts have become yesterday's news. Now, what happens to the true meaning of Christmas? Does it get boxed up with the ornaments or set aside for next Christmas?

The true meaning of Christmas should be celebrated all year round, not just on for a certain day in December. The birth of Jesus is more special and  important then anything. The birth of our messiah in a messy, unsanitary stable to a virgin girl and a carpenter made it more touching than anything. He could have been born to a rich king, but instead, he was born to the poorest or poor.

If we forget Jesus birth and coming, Santas and thoughts that the messiah hasn't come start clouding are mind. If we let that happen, God becomes ignore and becomes seconded in are lives. So take off that dusty bible of the shelve and read Luke 1 to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas.

Now I know this is a common subject, but resently, I listen to Adventures in Odyessy's album 54: Clashing Cymbals and the meaning of God's love, I thought I'd talk about it.
One of the best scriptures on this subject is 1 Corinthians 13 which is all about love. Literally! In fact, all of album 54 is based only on that piece of Scripture! JJ Heller song 'What love really means' and some of Francesca Battistelli newest album ' Hundred More Years' has several songs on love. Most of the movies, books and music out there in history are all about love. So go and love! Love one Another!

Change for the Better

Now you might not this, but I have many siblings in my family. I have one real sister (Autumn), two adopted sisters (Nicola and Stacy) and one adopted brother (Adam). One of my adopted sisters is the acual sister to my adopted brother (Nicola and Adam are real siblings). The great news that hit my family is that we might be getting Stacy's brother, Nolen! Praise the Lord for this great blessing! The not so great news is that I AGAIN have to share my room with Autumn by splitting a huge room in the basement up in half (which isn't that bad at all  :[) ).
Also, after I listen to my paster sermon today, I want to sow seeds of the spirt now on and add Jesus in most of my projects for now on to show my public school that JESUS SAVES and HE LIVES!!!
Another great thing is that I change my blog name to forever more Hunteress

We Remember

This Friday is Remembence Day. A day to remember those men and women that gave are lifes for are rights and freedom for others.
