Would you save a live? part one

Q) Would you save a life, if it was do or die? Would you save a soul, even if it's not your own? If you're the hands and arms that reach, would you save a life from drowning?

Now I know this is a bit flat, but maybe these guys can sing my point out to you:

I feel like a blogging jukebox....

Whisk's Movie reviews: Pokémon movie 13: Zoroark master of illusion

=^..^= - Hi I'm Whisk and I'll do movie reviews time and time again here on Hunteress blog and today I'm  viewing Pokémon movie 13: Zoroark Master of illusions.

Main plot: Ash and his friends, Brook and May, are going to Crown City to see a new tourment game. On the way, they meet Zoroa, a wolf-like pokémon. Zoroa wants to find his 'Mina' or Mom who has been taken by a man that wants to get Celebi to regain his power to see in the future. With the help of two new friends, will they save both Celebi and Zoroark? Find out in Pokémon movie 13: Zoroark Master of illusions!

(I know I'm not good at summaries :'( )

My review: Now, here one of the things I find that is semi-Christian is illusions. Illusions are just things that look like the real thing, but aren't real at all. As Christians, we need to tell the differences between what true, and whats not. In this film, there are things called "Illusion Cancellers". Christians have these to help us tell the difference between them. So we need to turn those on as the heavenly battle rages on!

Another thing this movie shows is SACRIFICE. It happens in the end when Zoroark saves Zoroa from the man that can see in the future just as Zoroark and Zoroa reunite again. It almost made me cry!!! As Christians, we know that the biggest sacrifice ever done was by Jesus and just as he sacrificed himself for us, we must laid down are lifes too.

Also, there's a warning: the pok'eball. When they bring out the pokéball, it like they are "casting out demons" as my sister's friend, Abigail, put it. So, Pokémon fans beware, REMEMBER THIS!


Another thing I like about this film is the ending song by Erin Bowman. You can hear the song on YouTube or watch the movie and wait till the end.  I watch the movie at http://www.1channel.ch/ only watch it using sockshare or putlocker. Other users will give you virus. It sounds SO christian!!! So,here is the lyrics for the song:

Black and White, Telemachus and Pok'emon

I heard an Adventures in Odyessy episode the other day and it shocked me of what happened. It was a true story about a monk named Telemachus who did in a gladiator arena when trying to show the people at this time that what they were doing wrong. He was on his way to find the true meaning of being Christlike, and ended up dying for it. His death ended up stoping gladiator fights forever. This theme was Sacrifice for what's right and had a verse that stated "no greater love is this, that he lay down his life for his friends" and those that are your enemies. Listen to this episode at WhitsEnd.org on the radio and listen to the episode titled "Telemachus part 1 and 2"

Also, I've been given back permission to have pokemon again; only if I don't get OBSESSED (which is semi bound to happen at some point). It also helped me start think more about some songs and things that have or are semi-connected to the words Black and White.

One of them is in the lyrics of Black and White by Royal Tailor:

The other example is the semi reasonly new Pokemon Black and White games for Nitendo DS (good think I don't have one to make me start to be obessive).

The song tells that just like black and white, there's wrong and right, just like there's light and dark, life and death. Just like these things we must always be on the White side of life were their is life, forgiveness, love, goodness, right and Jesus and stay away from the Black side of life were theirs death, grudges, deceit, evil, wrong and the Devil. In order to stay in the light we must stay away from temptation and our evil desires.

Winter wonderland

Today, it feels like Christmas is arriving! Snows blanking the ground in pure white. I keep thinking of a song that I hear in chruch with a line that says, 'Sin had left a crimson stain, he washed it white as snow'. It always reminds me of this day SOO much! Also Shelley at beingshelley1.blogspot.com is having a Valintine's day photo contest! Check it out!
Also, I've noticed that their is practically NO MANGAS or ANIMES that are Christian!!!!!!!!! So, i've decided that I may write one (or at least a script for one). You know that in the bible they say that we are fighting a spiritual battle? Well my idea is based on that true that we're fighting a battle against the Devil. My idea is kinda like a anime called Tokyo Mew Mew, but a little different. Instead, the outfits are more appropriate, the girls fight demons, they work at a restaurant, they don't say really bad words like the do sometimes in the japenese version of the anime and this book will be biblical based. The girls names are Snow, Blue (short for blueberry), Pepper, Honey, and Rose who are Christians that change into pretty outfits based on endangered animals like a snow leopard, bali starling, a sea creature, a monkey, and dhole to fight demons that only they can see.

Winter F'u'se

Hi, sorry I haven't posted for a while, but I have a reason: Winter F'u'se (It's a u with two dots above it). It's a Christian retreat I when to in Muskoka. The theme: < (a.k.a Greater than. How God is greater than... well anything!) Let me tell you how this three day retreat when:

Day 1
Left at 5:00 pm. We were in a coach bus :) . Got to talk for three hours with my friend Jamilya. We talked about Tokyo Mew Mew (a great anime by the way, except for some of the swear words and outfits. Pudding's my fave character, as well as Lettuce and Christian Zakuro) and Pok'emon (used to watch it myself). She talked about a idea about creating a idea for a Pok'emon human character with a really elaborate story. They put on Cars 2 in the bus for the rest of the way. When we got there, we unpacked' ate two cookies and when to the hanger for sermon on how God is greater than in Mark 4:35-40. Then we went to bed.

Day 2
Woke up early. Had sausage, french toast, and a bagel for breakfast. Had Devos in Psalm 8. Had are second sermon that introduced the wheel. The wheel of Dan. It's a wheel were the spiner has to spin to eat disgusting foods. Four kids had to eat Pet food, Grass jelly drink, bopping for Spam *feels sick* I didn't like it at all. The sermon was in Mark 5:21-43 about Faith (in Jesus) > circumstance. Later we had chicken sandwiches and lettuce (my friend said she felt like she was eating Mew Lettuce *laughs*)
